Denver landscaping is a very competitive industry. There is a low barrier to entry, so customers experience a broad range of skillsets, and even wider range of quality. An added challenge is that it is increasingly seen as commoditized, making it difficult to differentiate. Despite these factors, Omni Landscape & Sprinkler has built the business by becoming synonymous with quality products while being price competitive.
When Omni Sprinkler first approached us, they sought to improve their brand awareness, increase search visibility, and leads to increase overall revenue by at least 15%.
Our research revealed the size of the challenge, including:
- About 300 organic visitors per month to the site
- Nearly 40% of their traffic was Direct traffic, representing people who already knew about them.
- The was no visibility for their marquee keywords such as “Denver Sprinkler & Landscaping”, & “Sprinkler Repair Littleton”. The majority of keywords on the 1st page were branded.
In other words, they were not reaching a significant portion of their potential client base.
THE STRATEGY
Keyword Targeting
Firestarter SEO created a strategic Keyword Map to help target the correct keywords, and began implementing those keywords throughout important areas of the site.
Link Building
With only 72 Referring Domains, Firestarter SEO had to prioritize getting them listed on as many relevant sites as possible. So we initiated a link building campaign consisting of directories and guest posts.
Content Creation
Firestarter SEO immediately began creating blogs for Omni Sprinkler. This generated regular updates and additions to their website. It also expanded the size of their site, providing Google with more content to crawl and index.
